Home remedies for wheezing – garlic, ginger, turmeric and fig

We know that the wheezing is a high – pitched whistling sound which is produced when we breathe through narrowed or obstructed respiratory airways. When we exhale, then the sound is heard clearly. Due to your obstructed airways, the breathing can become very difficult and also you can have a feeling of tightness in your chest. Also it can cause a lack of energy and feeling of giddiness due to reduced oxygen in your body. Wheezing is not a health problem in itself. Steam therapy: Steam inhalation is one of the best home remedies which you can use for wheezing. When you infuse the steam with essential oils, then this will make your natural treatment even better. You should fill a large bowl with boiling water. You should add a few drops of any essential oil of your choice (such as eucalyptus and peppermint oil). As you lean over the bowl, you should drape a towel over your head to trap the steam. In one cup of water you can add ¼ teaspoon of black pepper powder, ¼ grated ginger and ¼ teaspoon of turmeric powder. You should bring this home remedy to boil and you should allow it to cool. You should strain it and then you should drink it.

Figs: They are rich in minerals, fibers and vitamins. Figs are very effective home remedy for wheezing because they have compounds and nutrients which can help to drain phlegm, ease breathing difficulties and promote the respiratory tract. You should soak the washed dried figs in water. You should let them stay throughout the night. You should eat these soaked figs and its water in the morning.
