 A dark circle is a dark discoloration of the skin under the eyes. This condition is also known as dark shadows or dark rings. There are many causes for this condition, but the most common causes for dark circles under the eyes are:

  • An unhealthy diet.
  • Lack of sleep.

  • Working for long hours in front of a computer.
  • Prolonged crying.
