Women put breast implants to change the size and shape of their breasts. In this period FDA has reported that breast implants put women’s life in great danger. These patients can have a very rare type of cancer which is known as ALCL (anaplastic large cell lymphoma). [1] The death has taken part of the side effects for the breast implants. Also when women are putting breast implants, they do not know that they have many other common side effects. There are many studies which have proven that in 2008, 300.000 women have made breast implants surgery [2] and 80.000 of them have breast cancer. Also in this year was reported more than 40.000 implant removal procedures. Why women want to pay for this surgery? Why they are not satisfied with their natural breasts? Is this surgery will make them happier than their current position? Is not their life happy as they are? Why do they not love themselves? There are many questions that we are asking about our women. They should believe they are beautiful just in way they are and no one surgery will make them more loved. They have many side effects when they put breast implants. Women you should take a break. You should breathe harder and stay on the level that you are. Think about yourself. Think about people who you love. You know is not worth to lose them just for one surgery.
Complications and side effects of breast implants
Here are some side effects which can happen to you if you put breast implants:
- Fatigue
- Disfigurement
- Memory loss
- Arthritis and joint pain
- Cognitive impairment: poor concentration
- Silicone migration into lymph nodes and other organs
- Death
- In silicone implants there is a chance of metal poisoning due to platinum
- Dissatisfaction with how the breast looks
- Need for additional surgery to deal with problems
- Necrosis (skin death)
- Debilitating autoimmune disease such as polymyalgia, polymyositis, mixed connective – tissue disease, fibromyalgia, dermatomyositis, eosinophilic fasciits, Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and pulmonary fibrosis
- Scar tissue
- Breakage and leakage
- Hardened and misshapen breasts
- Infection (bacteria and mold which can be released from the breast implant in the body)
- Breast or nipple numbness
- Surgical risks
- Capsular contracture
- Chronic breast pain
- Anesthesia risks
Breast implants side effects
When you put breast implants, then you cannot feed normally or you cannot feed your baby at all [3]. Your breasts lose their function. Doctors are making an effort to see if you suffer from breast cancer. In most cases women who have breast implants also had at least one complication such as need for additional surgery, pain, hardening and infection. All breast implants will break. The expiration date of them is not known. People do not know how many years the breast implants will function properly. There are many studies about this topic. In some cases is said that the average expiration date is from seven to twelve years [4]. We have seen many women who have complained about their breast implants just after few months. Also we have seen women who have the same breast implant for more than fifteen years. The medical cost and the insurance cost of these surgeries have showed increasing numbers in the last period. In some cases your costs go to remove the breast implants such as mastectomy. [5] In other cases they go to the complete removal of the breast tissue. In some cases your costs go for removing the muscle underneath. Also your life can be harder if you have chronic disease which has resulted as negative effect from the breast implants. There are many risks connected with the breast implants. They can be economic or cosmetic risks. They can last in short period. They can cause you serious problems which need treating for all your life. You should love yourself for what you have. You do not have need to make a breast implant in your life. Do not make any risk with your own life because you can have many side effects. You have increased chances to have death which has resulted from this kind of surgery. It is hard decision to make breast implant surgery. Your results are not sure and also it costs a lot of money and also breast implants risk your peaceful life too.
